About Maajara

At Maajara, every project is the beginning of a story: one shaped by its site, its culture, the needs of the people who live in it and the forgotten qualities of space.

Maajara, an architecture and urban design studio, was founded in Shiraz in 1400 (2021). We design spaces that grow out of a close reading of the site, the needs of daily life and the realities of construction, where spatial experience, architectural quality and the economics of building meet in a single story.
